Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art as a primary means of communication. Through using paints, drawing, clay, or collage, people (young and old) can finds ways to express themselves in a safe and confidential space in order to articulate and express themselves, without judgement.

You do not need to be ‘good’ at art, just have a willingness to try something new.

This is not always easy for some people to do, but the art therpaist is trained in enabling you to find your way with the art materials, so that you feel comfortable.

Often, creating something visual, can be even more powerful than words, which are sometimes difficult to find.
